St Patrick's Primary School Eskra

Class of 2023 End of Year CelebrationšŸŽ“

22nd Jun 2023

As we approach the end of June we once again say goodbye to our wonderful Year 7 class.

It was a beautiful evening, with the sun shining, as our school community came together to celebrate our Leavers' Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Eskra. Thank you to Canon McGahan for celebrating this special Mass.

Well done to all the children who participated with reverence throughout and to our Choir and instrumental group. A massive thank you to Mrs. Mullin for preparing the children so well, as always.

Afterwards the pupils and their parents came together at our school for an evening of celebrations which included the children watching their Leavers' video with their parents, showcasing their happy memories and experiences throughout their seven years of primary school.

Everyone had a lovely get together and enjoyed a beautiful barbecue served up by Shane O’Hagan. We also enjoyed the coffee cart and ice-cream van. Our pupils leave St. Patrick's with lots of wonderful memories and solid friendships.

A massive thank you to all the teaching staff and non-teaching staff for their care and dedication throughout each child's seven years at St. Patrick’s P.S. A special mention of gratitude must go to our Year 7 class teacher Mrs. Mulligan, for her kindness and dedication, particularly in the children’s final year.

On behalf of all the staff, pupils, Board of Governors and whole primary school community, we thank all the children for being fantastic ambassadors and great role models. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our wonderful Year 7 pupils but we wish them every success, joy and happiness as they begin a new chapter in their lives. We will miss them all very much. Our door is open and they are always welcome to come back and visit us anytime.

Take care, God bless and stay safe.
