Today we had a visit from NI Water who told us all about water, how they deliver it to our homes and then treat the wastewater before returning it safely to the environment.
Pupils learnt through a presentation about a range of water issues such as the water cycle, water for health, water sources, water and wastewater treatment, water conservation and water in the developing world.
This programme of classroom talks gave pupils an opportunity to meet NI water staff and learn first hand about the vital services they provide.
