The Year 7 children completed their Heartstart training recently with Mrs Taggart, our trained Heartstart Instructor. They gained some critical information in basic first aid in dealing with a conscious and unconscious patient, a casualty who is bleeding, choking or is having a suspected heart attack. They practised carrying out The Recovery Position and learned all about CPR.
