The Year 1 children had a fun morning on Tuesday 18th October, as they made their way into the Outdoor Classroom for a tasty treat- sugar coated, toasted apples!
They learnt a little bit about Fire Safety and how not to go too close. Their apples were cut up into slices and each child got to cover their apple in brown sugar, then watch them caramelise over the fire! 😋🔥🍎
The birds even got a special treat too as the boys and girls left the apple cores and seeds for them to eat.
