We had a spooky scavenger hunt during Forest School today as well as some scary sensory tray fun and potion making!
The children worked together in groups to find all the hidden Halloween pictures in the outdoor classroom. Some were trickier to find than others. However, as a team they found most of them!
Then the children had the opportunity to use their new sensory trays! With jelly, ice cubes, lentils and more, they used their funnels, beakers, whisks and spoons to measure and mix their sensory ingredients.
Then it was time to make a pumpkin potion using water, vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and washing up liquid! The children soon realised that too much or too little of each ingredient made for a different result each time.
