🎨Wassily Kandinsky art🎨
Year 1 and 2 listened to the story, The Dot and learnt that no matter how good or bad they might think they are at something, it’s having a go that is most important- make a mark and see where it takes you! In the story a girl called Vashti made a tiny dot but thought afterwards how much better she could make it… and so developed her positive mindset through her creativity! The Year 1 and 2 children looked at the artist Wassily Kandinsky who was famous for painting some very similar looking dots to the girl in the story. So they had a go at making their own! Each one different, starting off as a small mark, but ending up as a work of art! 😊🎨
