The Year 1 and 2 children are learning about day and night as their new topic! Today we looked at a famous painting, called, Starry Night, by Vincent Van Gogh. They listened to a story about this famous piece of art and then looked carefully at all the important details Van Gogh included. They noticed a moon, a village, a very tall tree and most of all lots of stars! Everyone had the opportunity to then create their own mini masterpieces inspired by the Starry Night painting. What super artists we have in P.1 and 2! Their finished outcome will be on display very soon! ✨☺️🎨
