Today Year 6 and 7 focused on their Numeracy Topic for Forest School which is 'Probability.' Their task was to create a target on the ground with 3 sections. They then had to decide the likelihood of hitting each section of the target and write this down before beginning using vocabulary like 'likely', 'unlikely' etc. Each pair, threw a bean bag 5 times each and recorded where they landed. At the end, we came together and discussed whether their thoughts at the beginning where correct and if they weren't, why this might be.
