Our Beautiful Daffodils 🌼
Today our children in Years 4-7 got to take home their beautiful potted daffodils in time for Easter. Members of Omagh Gardening Society visited our school to plant Jacqueline bulbs with the children back in November. Pupils planted three bulbs each, covering them with compost and stones. They watered the pots and covered them with bubble wrap to keep them from the harsh weather conditions over the winter. In February, Bernie and Terry came back to check that our pots had flowered. The children transferred their bulbs to our poly tunnel for their final few weeks. A huge Thank You to Bernie and Terry for all their help.🌱
