This week we made leaf lanterns using empty milk cartons. The children went on a leaf hunt and gathered all types of leaves. Then using sticky back plastic they arranged their leaves and stuck them on their carton! Next week, we use glow sticks to light up our lanterns when we go on our Halloween hunt in the forest! We also made some ‘witches hats’ by melting chocolate and decorating using some sprinkles and icing. We enjoyed some seasonal berries as a healthy treat also.
