On Sunday, 25th September the whole community of Eskra came together to celebrate and give thanks for Mrs. Josephine Hackett's service to St. Patrick's P.S., Eskra. Mrs. Hackett has been a much loved and respected Dinner Lady here at St. Patrick's for the past 27 years. Celebrations began with a Mass of Thanksgiving in St. Patrick's Church, Eskra, led by Canon McGahan. Following the Mass, Mrs. Hackett was presented with gifts from the Board of Governors, staff, parents and pupils. We then continued the celebrations in Eskra Community Centre with light refreshments, supplied by O'Hagan's. Thank you to everyone who made the evening so special. We wish Mrs. Hackett a long, happy and healthy retirement and we look forward to seeing her again soon.
