On Friday morning, our girls and boys travelled to An Eochair Naomh Mhic Artain and won both shield finals. They produced a tremendous display in the final and showed what a talented group of girls and boys they really are.
The boys and girls were an absolute joy to watch and we are so incredibly proud of them all. Not only did they showcase their talents, but the way they played with teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship is to be commended.
Thank you to all parents and family members for travelling to both finals and showing huge support for the children.
Thank you to all our staff who help prepare the children, encourage them every day to live out our school values both in a learning and sporting context. A special Thank You to Master McGowan for preparing the children and for his guidance and encouragement throughout the year. Thank you to Barry McGarvey and Paul Shiels for their dedication and commitment assisting with the coaching of the Girls’ and Boys' teams over the past few months and particularly on Friday. Thank You to anyone who helped with tournaments and competitions throughout the year. Thank you also to Mrs. Gemma Quinn and her staff for inviting us to this fantastic football tournament.
