"How do I look?"
25th Feb 2019
The children attending the Arts and Crafts Club, sketched their own self portraits this week. They looked at an image of themselves firstly, then decided what shape their face was, what position their eyes, nose and mouth should be in and how best to show their unique features. The children learnt that their faces are roughly the same size as their hand from the tip of their longest finger to their wrist. They captured the light and dark contours on their face and showed this through shading. Many of the children then asked their peers, "how do I look?" when they had completed their artwork.
