Over the past two weeks in Forest School, Year 4 and 5 pupils have been using their whittling skills to make spears and 'weapons' similar to those used in Viking Times and also by Stig of the Dump. Pupils learned how to use hack saws, potato peelers and scissors correctly and safely to give their weapons their 'sharp' finishing touches. Some were amazed with their results!
