Year 6 and 7 kick started their first Forest School lesson by making bird kebabs. 🍢
They used the apples from our school apple trees, cheese and Cheerios to make tasty treats for the birds to enjoy. 🍎
We talked about the importance of leaving food out for the birds as we come into the colder months and also good locations to hang out kebabs so that the birds could access them. 🤔
The children really enjoyed making the kebabs, but the best part of all was climbing the trees to hang them. 🌳
