Year 1 and 2 spent the afternoon revisiting The Colour Monster story. This time they had various types of feelings to sort out into the jars which belonged to the Colour Monster! Each child had a turn sorting out feelings of love, happiness, sadness, anger, fear and calmness. We talked about reasons why we might feel these feelings and the best ways to sort them out in our own bodies. We did a breathing excercise afterward and each child chose an emotion to express.
