Fermanagh and Omagh Cross Country Championships
The Fermanagh and Omagh Primary School Cross – Country Championships took place today at the Bawnacre, Irvinestown.
The event, which was organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, saw 5 days of intense competition with competitors seeking individual and team honours with over 1750 pupils participating from 39 schools.
Congratulations to all our boys and girls who participated in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Cross Country Event in Irvinestown on Tuesday. Thank you to Master Meenagh, Miss. Devine, Mrs. McGarvey and Mrs. Shevlin who accompanied the children. All our children showed great determination and skill, despite the hot weather.

The Boys’ Team were overall winners, receiving a beautiful silver plate.
