Today the Year 1 children learnt a little bit about St. Francis of Assisi. They heard the story about how he tamed the wolf and coloured in a picture of him. Then they walked down to our Sacred Space where our school have a special statue of St. Francis. There they said a prayer and thanked St. Francis for looking after the animals.
