🌼Edina Trust Bulb Project🌼
Our school is participating in the Edina Trust Bulb Project. Pupils will be learning about the conditions flowers need to grow.
Today pupils in Years 4-7 spent the day planting daffodil and crocus bulbs in preparation for the investigation. From November to March the pupils will be busy completing small scientific tasks such as measuring weekly rainfall, recording daily temperatures and recording when their flowers appear in the spring. It promises to be a very interesting and engaging project.
Pupils will submit their results electronically for analysis. Children across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England are taking part and we will be able to compare our data with theirs. Have a look at our photos - our pupils certainly enjoyed getting their hands dirty today!!
