Congratulations to our Year 7 children who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation today.
Thank you to Canon McGahan for conferring the Sacrament of Confirmation to our Year 7 children and to Canon McSorley for making the celebration so special and meaningful for everyone.
A special Thank You to our pupils for their participation and reverence throughout and to our Parents’ Association and Shane O’Hagan for the delicious refreshments in the hall.
We wish to express our gratitude to the parents and sponsors, who have supported our Confirmandi and taken time to help prepare the children to receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
A special word of thanks to Year 7 teacher Mrs. Josephine Mulligan and Mrs. Shevlin for their hard work and commitment preparing the children so well.
We are indebted to our choir mistress Mrs. Katie Mullin, pianist Mrs. Nuala Sweeney, musicians and choir members who enhanced the Ceremony with the beautiful singing and music.
Today was a wonderful day of happiness and celebration. We are so proud of all the Year 7 boys and girls who worked so hard and prepared so well for this special day. The chapel was adorned with the children’s beautiful art work and special displays showcasing their wonderful work.
