Today proved to be a very memorable day for our Year 6 and 7 boys. They travelled to St Mary’s Park, home of Beragh Red Knights GAA to take part in the eagerly awaited Annual Paddy Bogan Tournament. The club superbly organised the event and ensured that everything ran smoothly.
The semi-final stage after lunch saw our boys play the Recarson team. An all-round great team performance saw them claim their place in the final, where they would play St. Oliver Plunkett's P.S., Beragh.
And what a final it proved to be!
Well done to the pupils of both schools on what was a fantastic final.
Unfortunately our girls had no silverware today. The girls reached the final and stayed strong to the end in a tough match, however, the Recarson side proved to be too strong for our brave girls. The standard of football on show was excellent - matched by the terrific sportsmanship shown by both teams.
Well done to all our Year 6 and 7 children involved!🏐🤩🏆
