Huge Congratulations to Alannah Turbitt(Year Seven) and the Boys’ Cross-CountryTeam (Oisín McKenna, Cormac McGarvey, Peadar Montague, Ben Scullion, Thomas Cullinan and Jack McCarroll) who all qualified to run in the Ulster Final on Friday3rd March. The Boys’ Team continued to build on their recent success and added another trophy to the school cabinet - St Patrick’s P.S., Eskra won the Tyrone and Fermanagh District prize, meaning on the day of the Ulster Final our school had the fastest Boys’ Team in the whole of Tyrone and Fermanagh and the 7th fastest Boys’ Team in the whole country! Well done, boys! A special mention for Year Six pupil, Oisín McKenna, who finished in the top 20 of the Boys’ Race and has now qualified for the NI Athletics Flahavan’s squad. Thank you to our staff and parents who assisted the pupils on Friday.
Well done to all the boys and girls who participated with enthusiasm and excitement throughout this league. A special Thank You to Mrs. Tracey Scullion for preparing the children and for her guidance and encouragement for all the cross country events.
